If you are looking for resources, you’re in luck.  There are many reliable sources producing good resources.

My friends at GISetc posted a GeoInquiry, story map and 75th anniversary site links on their blog.

For working with primary sources, The WWII Museum in New Orleans has an excellent site. http://www.nationalww2museum.org/learn/education/for-teachers/primary-sources/pearl-harbor.html.

The folks at Teaching History have pulled together a nice set of lessons and resources, http://teachinghistory.org/teaching-materials/lesson-plan-reviews/25315.

Also the Discovery Education site has a library of lessons.  This one is a good idea to have students do research and write. http://www.discoveryeducation.com/teachers/free-lesson-plans/pearl-harbor.cfm
